GIZ-PCP/PLP Advisors Voice
To list in evacuation process:
“The literacy advisors” of GIZ-PCP-PLP Project (Police Cooperation /Police Literacy Project), who worked in the capacity building program of the Afghan police in 34 provinces of the country from 2013 up to the fall of the government (August -2021), as we were responsible for coordinating, recruiting, supervising and monitoring the literacy classes at police units in provincial and district level, we were at the forefront of project implementation, with the fall of the government and closure of the work plan, following problems affect our lives and our families:
1- Dangerous and documented news that the provincial advisor of Lugar province has been kidnapped by unknown people and his condition has not been known for several days. This situation can be foreseen for all advisors.
2- All the advisors receive calls from different addresses especially the Taliban, and the current rulers in the country, they want to be present at the command or other places for handing over the equipment and facilities from the GIZ address. It is also said that if you worked with Germans and spied on Germany, you would be held accountable.
3- The advisors displaced from their home province to other provinces and districts secretly with a world of fear, we live in a very bad and terrifying state which at any moment the danger of arresting and killing us is expected.
4- For prohibiting killing us and our families we registered to OKV in the first days of the government falling, Three months have passed since this issue and we have not received any positive or negative message.
5- After many contacts with Manager and other officials of the PCP project, unfortunately, we received a negative response from them, they did not cooperate in any way to save and transfer us to Germany.
6- In the process of transfer / evacuation, individuals and groups are involved who have worked on a third-hand contract with German organizations, but we, who was a direct employee and implementer of the most dangerous GIZ Project “the literacy department of the Afghan police”, Now we are 100% at risk. Unfortunately, our fate in this process is still unknown.
Hereby we respectfully request you to cooperate with us in order to save us and our families from high risks via safely transferring us to Germany.
