In all due to cosmopolitanism, science, dignity and with reference to the worldwide importance of his personality, we appeal to the City of Vienna to recognize the legitimacy of these valid questions.

Ludwig van Beethoven was born 1770 in Bonn at the centre of Europe - once a melting pot of humankind - where the peoples mingled like the brooks and springs to the water of the river Rhine.
Indisputable contemporary witness testimonies describe little Ludwig as dark-black curly haired and with black-brownish complexion.
A couple of years after his death leading anthropologists who directed two exhumations at the peak of colonialism were indignant: The shape of Beethoven's skull seemed to be African - "moorish" "mulattoesque". This observation was soon swept under the rug. The rumor has since had it that a stranger's head is lying in the grave at the Vienna Central Cemetary.
That is conceivable. There is no proof so far.
Also, the question whether or not Beethoven had secret children has not been answered.
